For the 2nd leak off Guilty Simpson & Small Professor's highly anticipated collaborative effort Highway Robbery which becomes available on September 24th, the duo team up with AG (of DITC) on "It's Nuthin." By fusing Small Professor's use of sample chops, thumping drums and electric guitar chords with Guilty's calculated rhyme schemes and AG's classic bars, the trio offer another reason to believe why 'Highway Robbery' is shaping up to be one of the more stand out emcee/producer pairings in recent history. Be sure to keep an ear out for the beat change-up halfway through AG's verse at the 2:40 marker. 'Highway Robbery' is now available for pre-order, via iTunes.

Just when you thought you were safe, Ill Adrenaline Records strikes again! Beneficence, Brick City veteran and longtime Artifacts affiliate, returns with a banging album coming off the success of his critically acclaimed "Sidewalk Science" (2011) album. After 17 years in the game and numerous collaborations with top-notch producers and emcees, Beneficence drops his 5th solo album entitled "Concrete Soul". Sticking to the true formula of golden era antics, Beneficence brings a stellar line up of guest appearances including heavyweights like Billy Danze (of M.O.P.), Masta Ace, Roc Marciano, A.G. (of D.I.T.C.), Grap Luva, Rampage The Last Boy Scout, El Da Sensei and many more. Your eardrums can enjoy witnessing soulful and hard-hitting boom bap beats courtesy of Buckwild (of D.I.T.C.), K-Def, Confidence (of Rashad & Confidence), Da Beatminerz, Gensu Dean, 12 Finger Dan, Presto, Molemen, just to name a few. "Concrete Soul" displays slick, thought provoking rhyme styles from smooth laid back joints such as the K-Def produced "Cold Train" (feat. Grap Luva & Rob-O) to rough and rugged Billy Danze featured "Art of War". The album brings a soul street element that's been missing from nowadays hip-hop music, along with plenty of dope cuts, samples, and pure satisfaction for true school hip-hop heads worldwide who are still in love with that authentic and raw 90's sound.
Back in 2007 Bronx rapper AG from the legendary DITC collective was in the UK during a European tour, Sonnyjim got the hook up, went down to London and took him to Chemo's studio in Brixton.
This song was originally intended for the Trading Standards mix CD back in 08 but for what ever reason didn't make the final cut. Then time went by and the session started collecting dust and the song got put on the back burner.
Anyways to cut a long story short, he found the files hollered at Chemo (Roc Marciano, Sean Price) and fixed the tune up, got some cuts thrown on there courtesy of DJ Roast and badaboombadabing...here you have it Sonnyjim feat AG - The Greatest Sin. The track itself is reminiscent of Chemos old style of that straight up boom bap thuggery, Sonnyjim sounds like he did back in 07, and AG sounds like the legend he did over those showbiz joints! Hip Hop at its finest.
