Visual for 'Against The Grain' lifted from Fliptrix's 4th solo album 'The Road To The Interdimensional Piff Highway' produced by Runone & Molotov. The album was released on High Focus Records on 12.12.12 and is available on CD, Digital & Limited edition double vinyl.
Produced by Runone & Molotov, 'The High Way' is a classic ode to the herb, complete with Rasta samples and a jumpy, neck snapping beat while Fliptrix preaches on the benefits of the good blaze, compared to alcohol and prescription drugs. I'm all over this tune!
The video looks like it was a whole lot of fun to make, and plenty of grade got dealt with to get into the right mind frame. Fliptrix is dressed like The Riddler, but a weed fiend version! Those cannabis shades are ill!! I love the jokes cameos from the High Focus crew, especially Dike and Scissortongue! HF videos keep getting better, another part of the UK hip hop scene they are dominating, and this is no exception! Get your eyes and your ears round this, you wont regret it. And bun one down while your at it!
