Swollen Members get nominated for a “Juno” and they are exstatic

Swollen Members' 2011 release, Dagger Mouth, was nominated for Best Rap Album of the Year and the Vancouver, BC group will be up against Drake, Classified, Cardinal Ofishall and D-Sissive at the Juno Awards.

Each member sounds as amped as the next. Here are their reactions starting with Prevail's [via HipHopDX]:

"I'm really proud of this Juno nomination for Dagger Mouth. Swollen Members have gone through some trials and tribulations the last few years so to come together and create an album that was purely about artistry and have it be nominated for such a prestigious award is very heartfelt and appreciated."

Madchild:

“It's been an extremely rewarding year coming back to the music, both creatively and spiritually. What a great reward and honor to be nominated for a Juno this year! We look forward to the event this March in Ottawa.”

Rob the Viking:

"Prevail, Madchild, and myself are honored to be nominated this year. We worked hard to make Dagger Mouth sound exactly how we had envisioned it and it feels amazing to get the recognition for all the blood, sweat and tears we put into it."

The Juno Awards take place on April, 1 in Ottawa, Ontario.
